The folks at Family Planning and Health Services had a branding problem — and they knew it. They needed a new look and feel to better target their reproductive/preventative health services and the WIC program to their target market of young women and girls in central Wisconsin and the Milwaukee area.
Following a name change, to Healthfirst Network, and the creation of a new logo and color scheme, the website phase of the rebranding effort tied it all together. We designed a fresh, hip, inviting site full of imagery that spoke to Healthfirst’s target. It looks nothing like a typical health care website, and that’s exactly what the client wanted.
We used the Hits in a Box Map Manager to make sure visitors easily could find Healthfirst’s clinics throughout the state. The Events Manager allows users to learn what Healthfirst is up to in the community, while the News Manager keeps patients aware of what’s happening at the organization. Patients also can request an appointment through the website.
Within the first two months of launch, healthfirstnetwork.org has been averaging 1,200 visitors per month. As expected with the target market, most users are visiting on a mobile device. Averaging three pages and 2.5 minutes per visit, most users are finding Healthfirst through organic search results.
